When Áine asked if I'd be interested in making a wedding film for you two, I jumped at the opportunity — a chance to honor your range as humans and see if we can align on a creative direction for Wedding #1. So I put together a rough proposal, just so you can review it and see where my head goes when I ask, "What does a Brendan & Molly wedding film look and feel like?" — treated the same way I'd treat any film I truly care about. Below are three tiers, each a genuinely different kind of film. Watch the films below, see exactly what you get, and pick the one that feels like you. The reference is cinematic, vow-driven storytelling — Vogue-level, the standard for what a wedding film can actually be.
Watch these before anything else. This is the level we're building toward for Tiers 1 and 2 — cinematic, vow-driven, edited like a short film, not a recap.
Anyone can point a camera at a wedding. These are the deliberate creative choices — in pre-production and in post — that turn footage into a film you'll still feel in thirty years.
I turn your vows and stories into a voiceover script — you approve every word before the edit. Your voice becomes the emotional spine of the film.
Ambient sound, designed effects, and a full mix layered beneath licensed music — not just a song dropped on top.
Real Super-8 grain, light leaks, and film texture for a tactile, nostalgic, cinematic feel you can't fake in a recap.
Your wedding party introduced like the cast of a movie — names, roles, and motion that set the tone.
A deliberate grade — warm cinematic LUTs with selective high-contrast black & white — that gives the whole film one unmistakable look.
After the day, I compose your love story — because storytelling is far more than a collection of beautiful shots.
Three tiers. Each one complete and finished to the same standard — they differ in crew, scope, and how much of the day the camera is shaped to tell.
Simple, clear, and built so you two never have to think about logistics on your wedding day.
You pick your tier — 1, 2, or 3 — and send the 50% deposit. That officially holds your wedding date on my calendar. It's the only thing that reserves the day.
We book a creative wedding-film onboarding call with you and your planner, Áine. We talk through whether we'll be shooting anything before or after the wedding day, and how to best work alongside your photographer to film the day and capture the exact scenes the film needs — without ever stepping on the moment.
From there we start building the creative direction as a team — locking the aesthetic, the songs, the voiceover plan, and the shot list drawn from your vows, venues, and locations. Tier 1 includes 3 creative meetings; Tier 2 includes 1; Tier 3 includes an alignment call.
We finalize the shot list, the voiceover plan, and — for Tier 1 — the bonus cinematic shoot day. Everything is locked before the wedding so the day itself runs effortlessly.
I shoot the wedding (and bonus day, Tier 1), then move into post — selects, voiceover edit, color grade, sound design, and titles. Selects in 7–10 days, final film in 14–21 days.
Reply with the tier that feels right and we'll set up your discovery call. The deposit holds your date — so the sooner we lock it, the better.
